Prof. Guang Yang is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prof. Yang received his PhD degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Wuhan University, China, in 2019. From 2019 to 2023, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Physical Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prof. Yang has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, including several high-impact papers in prestigious journals such as Science, Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Energy, Nature Sustainability, Nature Communications, and Science Advances. As of August 2025, Prof. Yang’s H-index is 46 with over 10000 citations. His current work focuses on the optoelectronic characteristics of perovskite materials and their applications in optoelectronics, such as high throughput fabrication of perovskite modules and perovskite-based tandem devices as well as device physics.
